To help celebrate 2012 as the International Year of the Cooperative, an ambitious group of 20 college students is spending the summer biking across the United States – and visiting cooperatives along the way. Starting in San Francisco on June 1, the group traveled some 2800 miles before stopping for a visit in Madison in August.   Traveling with them is a crew from NYU, filming a documentary along the way. We were happy to spend some time showing Isthmus to them, as well as providing refreshments and relaxation to help them on their way.  Some of our member-owners even joined them for a leg of their journey.
