Isthmus continues our strong history of supporting high school students in their pursuit of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Education.  This year we were proud first-time sponsors for two events which provide opportunities for aspiring Engineers to experience and explore real-life Engineering and Science challenges. The Twin Cities Regional Science Fair, held every year in  Minneapolis, provides opportunities for students in grades 6-12 to analyze projects, present ideas, and interact with professionals.  Winning  entries have the opportunity to move on to the Minnesota State Science and Engineering Fair, and the International Science and Engineering Fair. First Robotics’ annual Wisconsin Regional Competition was held in Milwaukee in March.   As in past years, Isthmus Engineers volunteered to act as judges for the competition.   In addition, we were proud to become a corporate sponsor for the first time this year.   For an entertaining recap of the competition, and to learn more about FIRST, please take a look at the videos below.
