On February 16, Isthmus proudly hosted more than 100 students from across Wisconsin for a test run in preparation for the annual FIRST Robotics competition.   Isthmus engineers, along with volunteers from the BadgerBOTS team (FIRST Team 1306, based in Madison), built a 27 foot by 54 foot playing field, in which teams' robots competed in a game of "Ultimate Ascent",  played with flying discs.  This is the seventh consecutive year in which Isthmus has hosted the event. Having worked the bugs out during the test run, the teams now go on to regional competition in Milwaukee in March.  Good luck to all of these aspiring engineers and scientists!
