Madison's Mayor Dave Cieslewicz was at Isthmus on Dec. 20 to announce the launching of Madison's MadiSUN Solar Energy Program. Isthmus was chosen as the site of the announcement due to their involvement in solar manufacturing, as well as the use of solar energy at their facility. The MadiSUN program is intended to promote solar in Madison's residential and business community.  Madison is one of the US Dept. of Energy's 25 Solar Cities, and the MadiSUN program is the latest effort to increase solar installations in the city.
