Isthmus once again hosted aspiring engineers as they tested their skills in preparation for the First Robotics annual tech challenge.

Maggie Ginsberg-Schutz puts the spotlight on custom automation equipment manufacturer Isthmus Engineering & Manufacturing in her in-depth article on worker-owned cooperatives in the current issue of Madison's "Isthmus: The Daily Page".

Isthmus has recently completed projects incorporating very different rack and pinion technologies, some in partnership with key vendors, and some developed and built in-house.

Process development is an important tool Isthmus uses to identify and demonstrate specific technologies to satisfy customer requirements. IEM has recently demonstrated successful product orientation and placement using vision-guided robotics.
